Noah

Noah is already seven months old! I can hardly believe it! He is growing and developing so fast!! He really started crawling earlier this month, and refuses to be left behind. He also to my amazment has already learned to pull himself up. Noah is convinced that he needs to be right in the thick of things along with everybody else, but especially with his favorite person...Landon. He wants to do and play with whatever Landon is, and they get along together very well. Its very adorable! He is super curious and hates to be left out of anything , and will let you know right way that it is unnacceptable (meals especially). He has his two bottom teeth with more on the way, and since starting solid foods has really shot up. At this point he is 28'' and 18lbs; at this rate he is going to be right there with Landon. In general, Noah is a very happy guy who smiles a lot, but doesn't have much tolerance for being ignored or left by himself. He is also extremely vocal. He will sqeal, blow rasberries, and make all sorts of noises when happy, but when he is upest everyone within hearing distance needs to cover his ears. He has also started this little fake cough when he gets upset and feels like attention is required. It really is very cute. All in all, Noah is a wonderful baby, and a perfect addition to our family.

Christmas Pictures

Pictures from Noah's first and Landon's third Christmas. Most of Landon's gifts were outside toys and clothes. Noah got toys that have lights and music (he really seems to love the musical stand he got), but his favorite will no doubt be the portable bottle warmer as he likes warm beverages... Landon was a big help opening Noah's gifts, and he did struggle seeing toys appear that he couldn't play with when his brother wanted them. Thanks for everything!

Landon's 2nd Birthday!!

Today was Landon's 2nd birthday!! I can hardly believe he is already two! We had planned on heading over to Disney, but it was cold, rainy, and Noah wasn't feeling well. So, we stayed home and spent the day together eating (obviously) and getting ready for the party tomorrow. All in all, it was a very nice day.

Noah's First Thanksgiving... He did not like Mashed Potatoes, much to our surprise, but he did like Squash and Carrots. Landon, of course, ate everything in sight after polishing off 3 servings of mashed potatoes.

View from Indiana

Rather nice weather in Indiana today, high in the low 60's and mostly sunny. This gave Landon an opportunity to go outside and run around and get some fresh air. Not for long, apparently we may get some snow on Tuesday... Here are some pics from the last few days and later there will be some short videos... Will give a shout out to the HCA Girls Basketball team, their coach was proud that they started a winning streak last night...

Starting Christmas Lists - Updated -

We are starting Christmas Lists for the Boys. Here is what we have for Landon so far (Noah's will come later):

1. Clothes (Size 2T, not 24 months; Landon is a big kid) - Landon specifically requested T-shirts, Shorts, and Nice Shorts & Shirts for Church and going out
2. Books - Berenstain Bears, Curiuos George, or anything with Cars or Trains in it
3. Movies - Disney, Thomas the Train
4. Outside Toys - T-Ball Stuff; Golf Clubs; Basketball Goal; Soccer Goal (Words have hyperlinks for examples)
5. Cars and Trains are Great
6. Play-doh
7. Crayons and Coloring Books
8. Puzzles

1. 12 Month-old Closthes for Summer (Play Clothes & Nice Clothes)

Weekend 11/07/09

What a weekend. Aaron here; it was a crazy week at work that continued into a very carzy weekend. I worked from home Friday so I could smoke Pork Shoulder and prepare some other stuff for a work BBQ/Picnic that we went to on Saturday. The BBQ was great, but as we were leaving to head to our church's (and its christian school) fall festival I backed into a telephone pole. Yes, for those that were there, that was the loud noise you heard as we were leaving. Fortunately, there was no damage to the car or the telephone pole. We got to the festival and below are pictures of Landon sitting in a fire truck and riding in a tank...
